News Corp.'s U.K. Newspaper Unit Reaches $4.8 Million Phone Hacking Settlement

NY - News Corp.'s U.K. newspaper unit stated Friday it has completed an offer to pay for 3 million pounds ($4.78 million) to stay claims that it is shuttered tabloid News around the globe compromised cell phone messages of killed schoolgirl Milly Dowler.
