Dos any kind of amp cable work with the Alesis Micron?

I bought a NPP amp cable for my Alesis Micron however I haven't yet
recieved my synth yet. I was wondering if this type of cable would
work. I read somewhere that it only works with a TRS amp cable.

Any help would be great.

BTW I just ordered a Behringer KT108 15-Watt Keyboard Amplifier.
