My uncle is teaching me guitar and expects me to be great.How do I not hurt his feelings?

Ok, so, I know it looks like I'm to old, I accidentally put in the
wrong date when I made my e-mail, but anyway, my uncles trying to
teach me guitar and expects me to b great. It's a lot of pressure!
Please help me
